ET: ANG rag(ged) time = na več mestih presekan, prerezan, pretrgan takt (HUNKEMÖLLER 1984: 1).

D: 1) »(Naziv za) instrumentalni žanr, primarno za klavir, ki se je razvil iz elementov koračnice, polke in cakewalka ter je pomembno vplival na razvoj jazza. D 2 v viru ni dokumentirana. V HUNKEMÖLLER 1984, kjer je temeljito raziskana zgodovina pojma, takšna možnost sploh ni omenjena. Obstaja sicer trditev, da bi zgodovina r. – z določenimi zamejitvami – lahko bila analogna zgodovini bluesa (HUNKEMÖLLER 1984: 6–7).

Ustreznice za izvirni ANG naziv v NEM, FR in IT so ponujeni v ‹BR›, 238–239, in sicer kot njegova (napačna) interpretacija. Kot je razvidno iz ‹L›, 461, in iz ‹P›, 275, je ANG pojem postal mednaroden.
