KM: Pojmi v NEM, FR in IT (kot tudi ANG-naziv folk-rock 1965) najbrž sugerirajo tolmačenje ANG-izvirnika v ‹BR›, 234–235. »Obdelava« v D je prevod ANG-pojma »cover version«: »V popularni glasbi (naziv za) posnetek, v katerem se predeluje kakšen prejšnji, po navadi zelo uspešen posnetek. Cilj takega posnetka, ki ne nujno, čeprav indirektno lahko prizna izvirnik, je pristop k širšemu komercialnemu trgu, pogosto tako, da se izvirnik prilagodi okusom nove, malo drugačne publike (npr. rock obdelave posnetkov rhythm and bluesa).« ‹RAN›, 211
