ELEKTROFONSKA GLASBA

ANG: electrophonic music.

ET: Grš. lektron = jantar (električni pojavi so bili prvič zaznani na jantarju) (‹KLU›, 174); grš. phón = glas, zvok (‹KLU›, 544).

D: Isto kot elektronska glasba.

KR: Naziv se pojavlja ‹FR›, 26, z vodilko k pojmu elektronska glasba (tu se omenja tudi »elektrosonična glasba«). (V ‹APE›, 90, se navajajo »elektrofonična glasbila« kot sopomenka elektronskih glasbenih instrumentov.)

Čeprav ima po ET natančnejši pomen od npr. elektroakustične glasbe (posebno glede na omejen pomen elektroakustike v ‹FR›, 25 – gl. KR elektroakustične glasbe), se naziv tako malo uporablja, da ga je bolje izključiti iz rabe in namesto njega uporabljati elektronsko glasbo.
