D: Naziv za glasbo, ki se sklada z dvanajsttonsko tehniko.

KM: Glede na različna dojemanja dvanajsttonske tehnike pri J. M. Hauerju (gl. HAUER 1926; tudi trop) je treba takoj razlikovati njegovo d. g. (gl. HAUER B. G.; tudi trop in dvanajsttonska igra) od d. g., ki se sklada s Schönbergovo dvanajsttonsko tehniko.

KR: Podobno kot aleatorična glasba z d. g. ne razumemo dobesedno tistega, na kar se z njo misli (gl. D), ker je d. g. pravzaprav vsaka glasba, ki uporablja dvanajst tonov (kromatične lestvice; gl. o tem uvod v BEICHE 1985: 1, kjer se jasno opozarja na problematičnost NEM-pojma »Zwölftonmusik« kot tehničnega pojma oz. strokovne besede). Kot okrajšava za glasbo, skladano z dvanajsttonsko tehniko, pa je naziv sprejemljiv, tako kot so sprejemljive njegove variacije, med katerimi je najpogostejša dvanajsttonska skladba (‹GR›, 185; ‹IM›, 398; ‹SLON›, 1438–1444), ki je vseeno ne navajamo v tem Pojmovniku, tako kot tudi serialne glasbe ne navajamo kot poseben pojem.
