ET: Grš. analogía = razmerje, odnos, od predl. aná = na, po, do in lógos = pojem, razlog (‹DE›, 32); sintetizator.

D: (Pojem za) sintetizator, ki uporablja analogne, kontinuirane signale. (‹DOB›, 11).

KM: Pridevnik »analogni« se v elektroniki uporablja za označevanje kakršnega koli signala, ki je analogen kateremu koli drugemu signalu. Npr. izhodna informacija iz mikrofona je analogna zvokovnemu valu, ki je deloval na membrano mikrofona. V opisu elektronskih sklopov se analogno razlikuje od digitalnega: medtem ko neki analogni signal, kot npr. ojačevalnik ali a. s. uporablja analogne, kontinuirane signale, digitalni sklop uporablja dve alternativni obliki napetosti, ki predstavljata logični ravni.
